Assim como no Globo de Ouro, as celebridades que foram ao BAFTAs 2018 – o Oscar britânico – apoiaram o movimento Time’s Up. A maioria escolheu a cor preta para cruzar o tapete vermelho.
Just as at the Golden Globes, celebrities who attended the BAFTAs 2018 – the British Oscars – supported the Time’s Up movement. Most of them chose black outfits to walk the red carpet.

Durante a semana, uma das dúvidas era se a Duquesa de Cambridge ia aderir ao Time’s Up e usar preto. Porém, ela optou por um vestido verde escuro. A Família Real tende a se distanciar de movimentos políticos, mas, mesmo assim, muitas pessoas ficaram decepcionadas com a escolha. Afinal, na premiação do ano passado Kate usou um vestido Alexander McQueen preto. O look deste ano, tinha um detalhe desta cor, mas nunca saberemos se isto foi proposital ou apenas uma coincidência.
During the week, one of the questions was whether the Duchess of Cambridge would support the Time’s Up movement and wear black. However, she opted for a dark green gown. The Royal Family tends to distance themselves from anything political, but, even so, many people were disappointed with the choice. After all, in 2017 Kate wore a black Alexander McQueen dress to the BAFTAs. This year the look had a black detail. We will never know if this was on purpose or just a coincidence.
